Royal Enfield is said to be working on an exclusive 500cc Thunderbird. The new Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500cc is expected to roll out in the first quarter of 2012.
We do not expect any changes in the engine. The 500cc engine that thumps the Royal Enfield Classic 500cc will be used. We hope the new Thunderbird would be given a bit more thump. Royal Enfield has a strong portfolio in India. It basically comes down to your choice and budget. With the inclusion of the Thunderbird 500cc the current portfolio will be expanded.
The Enfield Thunderbird model currently rolls out in a 350cc format. The new 500cc Thunderbird is expected to be priced around Rs 1.6 – 1.9 lakh
